ripped jeans and more...

hello guys!
finally made a Facebook page for pink struck! check it out and let me know what you think! :D

now about this outfit, summer has always been a season that gets me into a funky mood! this is a season where i love experimenting with my own style and playing with different kinds of colors and textures.

ripped jeans:
one thing i experimented with this summer was trying to make my own pair of ripped jeans! :P
i took an old pair of jeans(a good pair shouldn't go waste if the plan backfires!) and ripped it myself with a knife(you can even do it with a pair of scissors, but a knife gives you better textures). i personally love the way it looks and more importantly, the way it feels when i'm wearing them! this pair is enough to get me into the whole funky groove of the season and .. B-)

pink vest:
i got this pink vest from bangkok when i went last year, and have hardly ever worn it since. but now that summer's here, i'm sure i'll wear it a lot more often! i teamed up this bright pink vest with a pair of faded blue ripped jeans and a blank tank top, making sure that pink was the only bright color in the attire to make it stand out. for the accessories, too, like the bracelets, watch, bag, sunglasses, i used colors like black and brown so as to not let the focus shift from the jacket.

accessories:
i wore black gladiators to complement the ripped jeans and carried a brown bag, which is great from the sense of fashion as well as utility! the gold necklace has been my favorite accessory since a few days and i just didn't feel like letting it go for the shoot and have decided to keep it! i love the way it compliments the bright pink shade of the vest! i also wore a watch, bracelets and black wayfarers(a great accessory for the sunny times!)

black tank top: fame forever
jeans: wrangler
gladiators: sole to soul (bandra, linking road)
brown bag: accessorize
watch: fast track
bracelets: hill road
wayfarers: accessorize
golden necklace: local exhibition

once again, this was a shoot where siddharth, harsh and myself teamed up! :D we clicked the pictures at carter's at bandra and then lazed around for a while at candies.. had an awesome time with them! :D :*
also, do try and check out their blog, i promise you won't be disappointed!
