Chanel Paris-Bombay

Karl Lagerfeld's pre-fall collection for Chanel created a buzz of such intensity, which very few shows till date have been able to generate. I've been spotting these looks on various blogs and websites, since a lot of months now, and they still never fail to wow me.
I love how he has infused elements of different cultures together to create something extremely unique, regal and refined. He mixed Parisian couture ingredients with elements from the Indian Maharaja period, and infused them with timeless Chanel classics like tweed fabric and pearls, to create magnificent and magical outfits, and not to mention, an immensely breathtaking show.
It's not very often that fashion shows inspire me. If you ask me, I find several fashion blogs and personal styles more inspiring and interesting, than most of the stuff on ramp and by designers, but this particular show was just too striking to not fall in love with.
